We managed to split the Christmas holiday, flying to Denver on Christmas day. We had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends in Denver.
We enjoyed a Christmas dinner with family,
Sisters being weird
Experienced a white Christmas,
It started snowing as soon as we landed in Denver! Check out Eric’s Santa reflection on Christmas Day Eve!

Ugh! Driving in the snow
Took a snowy trip up the mountain to visit our cabin,
Beautiful sunset on the way down
Lunch at the cabin to warm us up!

Fun game of Scrabble
Enjoying Denver beer

It was so nice to see everyone and enjoy some of our favorite things from home!
The first part of the time we spent on break in the United States was spent with Eric’s family in Texas. During our two weeks in town, we were able to do quite a bit…
We took a trip to Galveston,
decorated for Christmas,
Trimming the tree
perused neighborhood Christmas decorations,
Very impressive decorations on a house on Newell
Close up of decorations on the same house
met a new family member,
Meeting our new niece

Thanks to all of our family and friends in Dallas for making our visit a fun one!
Flashback Friday is a picture series where we “flashback” to some of our favorite memories – from either our prior travel or from home. We hope you’ll enjoy some of our remembrances!
We feel really fortunate that we were able to spend Christmas with our family and friends this year. We weren’t expecting to be able to, which made it that much better!
That being said, we decided to celebrate this flashback Friday with a little throwback!
